Frequently asked questions

How does sensitivity conversion work?

Every game engine turns mouse movement into camera rotation using its own yaw value (Valorant 0.07, CS2 0.022, Overwatch 2 0.0066…). Multiplying your sensitivity by the ratio of the two yaw values keeps the same cm/360 — the physical distance your mouse moves for a full turn — so muscle memory carries over.

What is eDPI?

eDPI (effective DPI) is your mouse DPI multiplied by your in-game sensitivity. It lets you compare aim settings between players: 800 DPI × 0.5 sens and 400 DPI × 1.0 sens are the same 400 eDPI in the same game.

What cm/360 do most FPS players use?

Most competitive FPS players play between roughly 25 and 45 cm/360. Lower (faster) suits flick-heavy games, higher (slower) suits tactical shooters like Valorant and CS2.

Why does it still feel slightly different after converting?

The converter matches your 360° turn distance exactly, but field of view, aspect ratio and movement speed differ between games and change how fast the world appears to move. Give it a few sessions — your muscle memory for distance is preserved.
