Frequently asked questions
What is work suitability in Palworld?
Work suitability is each Pal species' level at the 12 base jobs: Kindling, Watering, Planting, Handiwork, Lumbering, Mining, Medicine Production, Cooling, Transporting, Farming, Gathering and Generating Electricity. A Pal with no level in a job cannot do it at all, and each level makes the Pal work that job much faster.
How does the base team mode work?
Pick up to 3 jobs and the planner lists every Pal that can do ALL of them, ranked by their combined levels — those Pals save base slots because one worker covers several jobs. If no single Pal covers your combination, it shows the best Pal for each job separately so you can mix them.
How many Pals are covered?
298 Pals — the full Palworld 1.0 roster from the open game-data extraction, minus Astralym, whose verified work set is not published in that data and was left out rather than guessed.
Is a higher work level always better?
For pure work speed, yes — higher-level Pals complete tasks significantly faster. In a real base you also care about whether the Pal eats a lot, works at night, or wanders off to do a different job it also knows; use this planner for the shortlist, then check the Pal's other suitabilities before assigning it.
