How is Palworld incubation time calculated?
The game uses one published formula: hatch time in seconds = (world setting × 3600) ÷ (egg base time × incubator speed). Egg base time is 12 for Normal eggs, 2 for Large and 1 for Huge — which is why a Huge egg takes 12× longer than a Normal egg on the same world.
What does the incubator comfort bonus do?
If the egg is at a comfortable temperature the incubator shows a speed bonus: 0% (speed ×1), 50% (×1.5) or 100% (×2 — "seems very comfortable"). A 100% bonus exactly halves the hatch time, so heating or cooling the incubator to the egg's preferred temperature is always worth it.
What is the default hatching time setting?
PalEggDefaultHatchingTime is measured in hours for a Huge egg. The classic default preset uses 72 (so a Huge egg takes 72 hours at 0% comfort, 36 at 100%), while some newer presets use much lower values — check your own world settings and enter the number you find.
Can eggs hatch instantly?
Yes — setting PalEggDefaultHatchingTime to 0 makes every egg hatch immediately, on any world you control. It changes nothing about the Pal inside.
