Frequently asked questions

How is crop profit calculated?

From the official Stardew Valley Wiki's own model: a crop planted on day 1 is first harvested after its growth days; single-harvest crops are replanted the same day, and regrowing crops then produce again every regrowth period. Profit is harvests × sell price − seed costs. All prices are base (regular-quality) prices, and multi-yield crops (Coffee Bean ×4, Blueberry ×3, Cranberries ×2, Potato ≈×1.25) are counted per item.

Which crops does it cover?

32 main field crops across Spring, Summer and Fall — from Parsnip and Cauliflower to Starfruit, Ancient Fruit and Sweet Gem Berry — with seed prices, sell prices, growth and regrowth times taken from the official wiki's Crops page. Flowers and fruit trees are not included.

What does the Tiller option do?

The Tiller profession (Farming level 5) raises crop sell prices by 10%. The wiki's own gold-per-day figures exclude it, so it is off by default here — switch it on if your farmer has it and every revenue figure, including the ranked table, adjusts.

Why is my in-game profit different?

This calculator uses regular-quality prices and assumes every tile is watered from day 1 and replanted immediately. Silver/gold/iridium quality crops, fertilizer, the Agriculturist profession and missed watering days all change real results — usually upwards with quality, so treat these figures as a solid baseline.
